Greetings Everyone!
It’s hard to believe that spring is finally here! There is some promise of better weather (at least that’s what they keep telling us) and our first show of the season is only 4 weeks away!!!
Speaking of our first show, we have some important reminders… Please note that show premiums and entry forms are available on the SNC web site and will not be mailed out.
The venue for the April show has been changed from Franktown Meadows to Clover Leaf Equestrian Center. Dates are the same: April 22nd & 23rd. Judge - Fran Dearing (S). The closing date is April 10th.
Volunteers are still needed for the April show. If you can volunteer please contact Mary Ann Christensen at maryac@unr.edu
The northern CDS Amateur Clinic will be held June 8-11, at Lilo Fore's Sport Horse America stable. Lilo Fore will be the clinician. The clinic format starts with an introductory lecture session the evening prior to the first day of the clinic and three days of riding sessions. SNC-CDS club members interested in attending the amateur clinic as our club representative needs to submit a written application of intent to Beth Coffey-Curle (curle@mindspring.com) by April 1, 2006. At the April SNC monthly meeting, the names of all applications will be placed into a hat and a rider and an alternate will be drawn out.
The awards banquet was a fantastic event with a great turnout. We were able to support and recognize our Juniors and High Point winners as well as those who won USDF awards this year. The silent auction was wonderful with many fantastic items. Thanks to Cindy for all of her hard work in putting it together.
Beth has the CDS plates from the 2005 season. Please give her a call to make arrangements to receive them.
